ok people. huien here again. now. i think quite alot of you guys are not happy about the merging of the 2 teams yeah? actually. there is no reason for you all to be angry think, if it wasn't for us, the other team might not be able to pass in their EE so, we had actually helped them :D true, this project requires effort put in but in the end, it's the process that is more valuable. and i can tell you, that this is the only thing that the other is not able to achieve that so, in the end, we are still winners

we worked so hard and the other group fail to do ms faith wants them to join our team and without sacrifising of time. jian hui and i (kok yi) stayed back for the past few days until 5pm or 6pm . the other group people procastinate and it is so call an attitude problem so i think it is not fair to us at all. our fish tank sucess the then join us they first curse our fish die so the dun even deserve to join our team for the EE project. they think that their tank big so they will of course win. we know it will be difficult to maintain so we first tell them no to use such big tank the problem is they do last minute work. if they start on monday like us their tank maybe better than us. yuan xing join us i will not mind cuz he help us in filling of water and many many more things better than the others only see the tank and say our fish cannot survive till tomorrow. So i will maybe demand them not to join us.

Yeah~! Ms faith, our teacher, had praised us for our very beautifully decorated fish tank. i also think that it is a very nice fish tank and we were very proud of it. we had spent a lot of time to do it and we also had quarrels. we had put in hearts and tears into our fish tank. thus, we reap what we sow. we had sow effort, thus we had reap a very nice fish tank. by tzq

Before leaving the classroom to home,(tank was placed in classroom before exhabition) on seeing the wonderful decorated tank that effort was put in by many,
we felt a great sense of achievement.
When we found the problem to the tank in the beginning and solved it,
we really felt happy because we were able to identify the problem and overcome it, the feeling cannot be described by words.
We felt that through this project, many had benifited alot from it. We worked hard on our team spirit and teamwork ;
we were more understanding and willing to help. We think that other groups had also enjoyed the process of the whole project.
Though other groups were not chosen for the exhibition, we believe that they were still proud of their works, because
alot of effort were put in too. We must say that alot of us grew alot through this project. :D
Wecome to our blog! :D
This is where we write/record our Process, Reflections and Progress
Enjoy!
navigations are the pictures beside! =)
Click here if you want to know what is an aquaponics
Aquatic animal effluent (for example fish waste) accumulates in water as a by-product of keeping them in a closed system or tank
(for example a recirculating aquaculture system).
The effluent-rich water becomes high in plant nutrients but this is correspondingly toxic to the aquatic animal.
Plants are grown in a way (for example a hydroponic system) that enables them to utilize the nutrient-rich water.
The plants uptake the nutrients, reducing or eliminating the water's toxicity for the aquatic animal.
The water, now clean, is returned to the aquatic animal environment and the cycle continues.
Aquaponic systems do not discharge or exchange water.
The systems rely on the natural relationship between the aquatic animals and the plants to maintain the environment.
Water is only added to replace water loss from absorption by the plants or evaporation into the air.
Aquaponic systems vary in size from small indoor units to large commercial units.
They can use fresh or salt water depending on the type of aquatic animal and vegetation.
